Developed by Kuju Entertainment, Redwood Falls is an intriguing demo that was first shown at the Japanese Play UK 2006 event as a gruesome demo of human-like enemies literally being torn apart by gunfire. The enemy body reacted realistically to the fire, with positional damage leaving open wounds which exposed detailed innards, right down to bones. With enough damage, body parts started falling off. Instead of collapsing to the ground from the beating, though, the enemy's body regenerated itself, returning to original form. Though the concept sounds brutal, the theme of the game is said to be about regeneration.
